Trend of the week: Stars

This week’s trend is out of this world -- literally (we are obsessed). I see at least one person wearing star print every day! When I’m helping my boss order clothes for the local boutique I work at, we both agree that stars are cute and fun. Whether it be going down the side of a pair of sweatpants, all over a cute crew neck, or even star earrings-- we are in total agreement that we MUST order it. Non negotiable. Something I love are star earrings. Madewell (one of my fave brands) has sold out of their star earrings soooooo quickly. Don’t worry though, you can still find cute star earrings on Etsy (some that are the same as the Madewell ones). There are super cute star stud options as well as dangly star earrings too! One unique way to pull off the star earring trend is by buying the star ear jackets (look it up- you won’t be disappointed). Last but not least, my favorite, the star hoops. Etsy has all of these options! Make sure to check them out. Another fun way to incorporate the star trend into your closet is to invest in a comfy pair of star print sweatpants. These sweats, oversized or fitted, will look incredibly good AND will be so comfy to wear. Win/win situation. Revolve.com has a ton of cute options, so does Gap, and the brand Z Supply. As for star tops… I can’t begin to count the ways you could wear this trend. For fancy occasions, there are so many sheer star tops out there (I love the one from Romwe). There are also super cute sweaters that have stars (big and small) on them, as well as hoodies. If you buy these, you will be a star. So many celebrities and influencers have also been highlighting the star trend. I really feel like the star print has been in for so long and will continue to be in for many months to come. You will get so many compliments, guaranteed, and you will LOVE wearing whatever it is that has got you starry-eyed.  So, it’s time to pull out your credit card and reach for the stars.
