SOMETHING NAVY BROKE THE INTERNET
You’ve probably seen her on Instagram. Arielle Charnas (@ariellecharnas) is an influencer and blogger based out of New York City. When she’s not posting her fabulous outfits, she is sharing her cute kids and charming husband with the world. Her blog, Something Navy (@somethingnavy), is increasingly popular and her followers and admirers grow everyday. Today, she turned her blog into a lifestyle clothing brand. I’m a huge fan of Something Navy, and was up and ready to shop at 9 am (this is a big deal for me on a Monday morning). I quickly added my favorite pieces from the collection to my bag and went to checkout. Something Navy literally broke the internet. Nordstrom, a big department store, shut down. Arielle went live on Instagram apologizing to her fans and shoppers for the mistake and, soon enough, our carts were full and our credit cards empty. These are my favorite 5 pieces from the collection which I CAN’T WAIT TO STYLE.
Avenue Bow Mule - $89.95
These slipper style shoes are SO ADORABLE. I’m going to stye these with everything from boyfriend jeans and a graphic tee, to business pants and a blouse. These shoes are so versatile and a good addition to every wardrobe.
Print Silk Skinny Scarf - $39
Right now, I’m super into using scarves as a belt. Doing this has the ability to turn any drab outfit, into a fab outfit. You can also tie this scarf around your neck, tie it to a bag, or tie it in your hair.
Contrast Stitch Mock Neck Top - $59
I’m literally so obsessed with this turtleneck. The sleeves are girly and flirty, which aren’t words I usually associate with turtlenecks. The trim is adorable and such a cute addition. I’m going to style this top with a skirt and boots, or even jeans and a belt.
Exaggerated Lariat Necklace - $59
This gold necklace is so pretty! It’s not dainty, but the design is delicate and would look great with anything from an LBD to a tee shirt and jeans.
Fringe Trim Muffler - $69
I’m seriously so obsessed with this muffler. It looks insanely soft and cozy ,and they style it as both an over the shoulder sweater, and as a scarf. I can’t wait to snuggle in this.
The entire collection is everything that the New York woman is right now. Sophisticated, classic, comfortable, and fashion forward. The Something Navy team did an incredible job curating the styles and colors for this collection.
Safe to say, I’m obsessed.
