Meet Me In Montauk

Growing up an hour and a half away from Montauk my whole life has been a dream. There is no place in the world that's better to spend your summer in than in this sandy little beach town, located all the way on the east end of Long Island. Once you go and visit, you will never stop thinking about the next time you can go back. Here are a few of my favorite spots to go when staying in Montauk.

DITCH PLAINS

Ditch Plains is the perfect beach to spend your day at. Located at the farthest east spot of Long Island, it is claimed to be one of the best surf spots on the East Coast. Even if you’re like me and don’t surf, it’s still a fun place to go and spend the day watching people ride waves. There is also a great food truck called “Ditch Witch”, where all the beach crowd goes for lunch. They have great burritos, wraps, and salads, and it is an amazing place to go for lunch after having a long day at the beach.

TT’S

Tacos. And. Tequila. TT’s is one of the hottest spots in Montauk and is the perfect place to go for a margarita and some tacos. It has a really cute and beachy atmosphere, right near the marina. There is no better place to spend your time than at TT’s, where you can listen to beachy music, enjoy the warm weather, and have the best tacos, and drinks.

KELLY B

Kelly B is a clothing boutique located right in the heart of town. It’s a perfect place to shop because it offers a wide selection of clothing, from loungewear, to beach cover ups, to going out outfits. The clothing in this store is one of a kind, and could not be found anywhere else. Whenever I wear something from Kelly B, I always get compliments. The clothes also come in a cute tote back, that says “I got it in Montauk”, which I love to carry around with me all summer.

MONTAUK BAKE SHOPPE

Montauk Bake Shoppe is the ideal place to grab a coffee or a wrap before heading to the beach for the day. It's a laid-back bakery that has a wide menu selection. All the food is so fresh and melts in your mouth because it’s that good. Whether you get a smoothie, a coffee, or a sandwich: this cute little bakery is the spot to go for a pick-me-up.

I hope these spots find a special place in your heart like they have in mine. Montauk is truly one a kind, and it is definitely worth the visit
