Celebrity Fall Fashion Trends to Inspire Your Wardrobe this Season

There’s something so special about fall. The changing color of leaves, the brisk air, Halloween, and so on: but our favorite part of the season is definitely the clothes. From cozy sweaters to corduroy pants, celebrities embrace and implement fall trends into their outfits every single day. Even though it feels at times (especially on warmer days) that fall has just begun, we have already seen numerous trends in the media that we expect to be prominent in the coming months. Leather outfits, cozy hats, blazers, and the color pink are just a few notable fall trends that have been particularly-eye catching this 2022 season.

LEATHER, LEATHER, AND MORE LEATHER

Don’t get me wrong, leather itself is timeless. Purchasing a leather item is considered an investment, something one can style for years and that will never go out-of-style. Recently, however, the way people (especially celebrities) have been wearing leather is considered rather trendy. We have been seeing a lot of leather micro-mini skirts and matching leather sets this season, as well as outfits that feature multiple pieces of the material. Leather bags and boots are the perfect way to make a statement for a night out, highlighted by Kendall Jenner especially. Although leather has been recently used to create rather avant-garde looks, let’s not forget the simplicity of leather, with the ability to serve as a final touch to any outfit.

SUPER COZY HATS

Knit, corduroy, and fur hats, especially bucket hats, have already been a staple accessory this season. Not only do these hats provide warmth on colder days, but they provide more depth and a pop of color to an outfit, as seen done by Addison Rae, Bella Hadid, and Kaley Cuoco. This may appear to be a bold choice, but it’s important to consider how this accessory can elevate the playfulness and creativity of your outfits this season. These hats are best styled with pieces that are more subtle and plain, so the hat can speak for itself!

POWER BLAZERS

Traditionally speaking, blazers are oftentimes associated with office and business attire. Recently, we have been seeing blazers styled in a more casual way and with unique materials such as leather and tweed, patterns such as stripes, and a variety of different colors. Blazers are a great layering item over a turtleneck or even a top for a night out. Blazers also pair well over sweatshirts for a more sporty look and on top of button-down shirts to rock the school-girl trend. When wearing a more sophisticated look, celebrities will often opt for a pair of heeled sandals or boots. Whether you decide to wear jeans like Kaia Gerber or a skirt like so many other celebrities, a blazer can be the perfect on-the-go item, whether you are heading into the office or going for your morning coffee run.

THE COLOR OF THE SEASON: BARBIE PINK

Whether you are scrolling through your Instagram feed over the past few months or looking at photos from Fall/Winter 2022 runway shows, chances are, you have seen this color a ton. This medium-to-hot pink has been extremely popular and is deemed the color for this fall season. Pink and other bright colors are often associated with outfits worn in warmer months, but despite this, wearing a pop of color such as “barbie pink” is the perfect way to add warmth to your wardrobe. We have been seeing many celebrities wearing monochromatic outfits in this hue, such as Florence Pugh, Jessica Alba, and Kim Kardashian. However, if a whole outfit of “barbie pink” is too much for you, a handbag, scarf, or shoe, is the perfect way to add a pop of fun to your wardrobe.

These are just a few of many trends for this Fall 2022 season. If you are currently a bit stumped in terms of creativity when planning your outfits, we recommend drawing inspiration from celebrities and influencers for ideas on spicing up basic pieces or even creating a dramatic outfit for a night out. Go have fun with it, and get shopping!
