My Go To Travel Outfit

As I’m sitting in Terminal 2 of Delta, waiting to board my flight to Charleston, I couldn’t help but notice the seamlessly stylish woman sitting two seats over from me. Her large, brown Hermès Birkin bag was staring me in the face. Sported alongside the luxury purse was a black slim-fitted blazer, boyfriend jeans (no holes), and a light blush pink sweater—the cherry on top? The perfectly matched cream and blush Nova Check Burberry Scarf. My immediate thought was “goals”.

I was standing there in Terminal 2, in my knit POL beige sweater, Lululemon Align leggings and converse, with my medium sized MZ Wallace tote sizing up this woman, inspiring me to write this piece. Thank you, style icon.

There are still ways to look stylish in the airport without dropping thousands of dollars on an outfit, although we all wish we could. Many people who know me know I always try to plan the perfect airport outfit. I’m here to tell you some of the cute fits I saw while waiting for my delayed flight.

There was a girl about my age wearing a camo Z-Supply top, black Align Lulu leggings (staple piece) and white sneakers. This outfit screamed cute but cozy and what made it chic was the layered silver jewelry she was wearing, dainty, but since it was layered, it looked especially amazing. They always say the little things in life matter most—dainty jewelry is one of those things!

Another woman I noticed was wearing an almost classic all black outfit, except for her grey cropped tank top under her loosely fitted black cardigan, pairing her colorful sneakers to spice it up. She looked sleek because of the black, but fun because of the pop of color in the sneakers.

It is quite easy to dress comfortably but cute for your flight. A cute sweater and leggings are usually my go-to, and I feel like the sweater can elevate your look just a dot more than any hoodie could. Of course, however, if you are flying somewhere tropical… then I might avoid a sweater and opt for a sundress.

Another option for travel is a sweat set—a matching two piece set of sweatpants (usually patterned but sometimes simply monotoned)! My favorite brands for travel sweat sets are Vintage Havana and Z Supply. I own many pieces from both, and you can find good prices for each online! These brands are also usually stocked in boutiques, so make sure to check your local stores!

That’s all for now! Safe & stylish travels.
