4 Youtubers We Relate to (Or Want to Relate to)

By Sheridan Santo

When watching Youtube, there are several vloggers that make us want to be more productive throughout the day. As much as we all want to be like Emma Chamberlain or other successful influencers, their lifestyle may be a bit unreachable for typical college students. If you’re looking for more relatable content, here are five youtubers that are fun to watch and motivate their audience to feel more productive, and are current college students or early post-graduates.

1. Anna Heid

As a senior at University of South Carolina, Anna Heid finds a way to balance her busy nursing major schedule with cheerleading and socializing. She showcases her extremely relatable struggles of waking up for early morning clinicals, and studying all night for big exams. Despite her extremely busy schedule, she finds time to attend numerous game days, showcase her outfits, and keep up with the active social life at her school. Solely watching her videos will make you want to be more productive with your time.

2. Danielle Carolan (Honorable mention Brooke Miccio)

Although Danielle graduated from UGA in 2021, her most popular vlogs are her productive “college week in my life” videos. In these vlogs, Danielle discusses fashion, working out, and films her experience at UGA game days. On her popular Gals on the Go podcast, she shares ways to become less stressed as a student in college. She discusses effective stress-management methods, such as creating a detail-oriented planner. Her podcast also features her co-host Brooke Miccio, who talks about the importance of finding balance in life and trying new things.

3. Luca Whitiker

Luca is a current student at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). In her vlogs, she discusses the daily agenda for her classes, and how she structures her time in an effective way. In some of her most popular videos, she documents her time studying abroad in Rome, Italy. By watching her vlogs, we not only get to live through her time in Italy, but also watch the inner workings of a fashion major.

4. Maggie Macdonald

Maggie and her sister Emma are extremely productive vloggers who film their everyday schedule while living in Boston, Massachusetts. In her videos, she shows her subscribers her extremely productive routines, various style guides, workout routines, etc. Maggie often supports local businesses, and was even featured in Forbes Magazine to show their followers’ favorite places in Boston.
