LOUNGEWEAR IS THE NEW BUSINESS CASUAL

While sitting at home in these quiet days of quarantine, I find myself often scrolling through Instagram, seeing people posting in loungewear, tie-dying plain white sets, and more. I have found a handful of small businesses selling adorable loungewear that I wanted to share!

I stumbled upon @Browndyedgirl on Instagram, a hand made tie-dye loungewear company in New York by Jordan Baker. Jordan dyes each piece herself and succeeds in creating eye-catching pieces. Noteworthy influencers like model Camille Kostek, influencer Danielle Bernstein, and Bachelor contestants, Hannah G & Hannah B, have been sporting Jordan’s sets lately. Her pieces are to die for!! They are so cute and will definitely stand out in your closet.  You can shop her pieces at https://browndyedgirl.com

Another one of my favorites and a favorite of so many other Fairfield U girls are @p.o.andco. Po & Co -- Paulina and Olivia, the designers and creators, are two Fairfield U girls! Po & Co is continuing to create loungewear sets at this time! While we love the classic star suits, they also have lightning bolts, hearts, mini stars, and rainbow stars added to their repertoire! Their rainbow star sets are so minimalistic yet so cute, with a pattern of rainbow stars going down one sleeve and down one leg. In addition to loungewear sets, they have just started creating tie-dye sweatshirts with a mini star detail! All of their pieces are handmade with love and are so cozy. Their personalization menu is below; you can DM them on Instagram to order!

Dana Scott is an online boutique selling loungewear sets at this time as well! @shopdanascott is their Instagram. They have gorgeous pastel sets and tie-dye sets ranging from crewnecks to hoodies to short sleeve tops. Their colors can compliment any skin tone and are just plain chic. In addition to loungewear, Dana Scott sells graphic tees, sweaters, hats, and other accessories. My personal favorite piece from Dana Scott is the Stay Home Hoodie Lounge Jogger in the color Latte. You can shop Dana Scott at www.shopdanascott.com/

Another business I discovered was Mila and Me: @shopmilaandme on Instagram. Mila and Me is a tie-dye loungewear company that is family run! Melissa Thaxton is the “Me” in Mila and Me!  This company was started to provide comfort to your life, brighten your day, and help those in need. Mila and Me donates 10% of the proceeds to COVID-19 relief. Mila and Me also create tie-dye pieces for babies as well, which makes a perfect gift for one of your family members, niece, nephews, family friends, or anyone else! They have color combinations and variations that are so unique! You can shop on their website: https://milaandme.shop

Not Your Boyfriends, @nybf.thelabel on Insta, has such cute tie-dyed pieces with graphic photos on the fronts and backs of their hoodies. The graphic photos include the Prada logo, Hailey Baldwin’s Vogue cover, photos of Sofia Richie, and Kendall Jenner among other luxurious photos. The graphic pictures can serve as day to day inspo. While these pieces are gorgeous and unique, they are one of a kind… which means that bids need to be placed on them. You can directly bid in the comments section on Instagram! The piece goes to the highest bidder. If you are going to test your luck, best of luck!

As you can see, tie-dye and pastels are trending right now. I know I’ve definitely pulled my debit card out to start ordering and supporting these small businesses. It’s a win-win situation… a few cute sets are added to my closet, and the businesses are growing!

Stay healthy, safe, cozy, and stylish everyone!

Xo,
