Top 5 Best Dressed Emmys 2019
Ahh, the Emmys! A night where you either sat through the hours of classical music awkwardly playing people off stage or you skimmed the highlights via E! News’ Instagram. No matter what, you know what when down by the time you wake up the next morning. My personal favorite part of the evening is two words: red. carpet. We see some of our favorites rise to the occasion and others end up tucked in the back of a Us Magazine ripped apart by critics. Here we will focus on the positive, so I’ve rounded up my top 5 favorite looks from the 2019 Emmy’s red carpet. No more small talk, here we go:
5. SANDRA OH
Somebody sedate me because this dress is killer. Sandra Oh (Christina Yang forever) often tops best dressed lists and arriving in Zac Posen, she made sure this Emmy’s was no exception. A quick blowout and she would be in talks for a top spot. But alas, coming in at number five will suffice.
4. JAMELLA JAMIL
As modern, reinterpreted Cinderella, Jamella Jamil glides across the carpet. She takes a middle parted bang to a whole new level (my mind typically goes straight to Monica Geller’s Dudley Moore haircut *shudders* ) This breath of fresh air ranks at number four on our best dressed list.
3. KIT HARRINGTON
Okay so we’ve seen the armor and the animal furs but can the man pull off an Emmys look? Well ladies and Gentlemen, here we are. Sleek, polished and sliding in at number three on our list, Jon snow has conquered once again.
2. MANDY MOORE
& SUSAN KELECHI WATSON
This. is. Us. and This is Me obsessed with this color combination. Interestingly enough Mandy Moore and her costar Susan Kelechi Watson (pictured right) dawned the same hues, looking equally as stunning. Mandy Moore has not aged (no matter what the bad old age makeup they put on her in This is Us tells you) and she falls in line to be our third best dressed at the 2019 Emmys.
1.ZENDAYA
I mean ... from Rocky Blue to the Emmy’s carpet, it’s been a long ride. This look is effortless yet perfectly crafted. Zendaya always kills it so this is no surprise, but she takes the number one spot this year.
