Mask On
Masks are clearly on everyone’s minds these days. My favorite type of mask, while being in my house during quarantine, are FACE MASKS! Not only are face masks a great way to keep your skin in check, but they are a self care tool to experiment with while being cooped up at home. There are tons of face masks out there to try and I’m here to inform you of my absolute favorite masks that are definitely worth a try for different reasons.
Glam Glow ($25)
This charcoal hardening mask cleans out your pores at such a fast rate. Honestly, blemishes disappear instantly once you wash off your Glam Glow Mask. Glam Glow actually has a bunch of products on the market that I have yet to try, but his charcoal hardening mask is a must have, especially when you feel like you’re breaking out a bit.
Origins Clear Improvement ($26)
Here’s another charcoal mask! This mask is very similar to the Glam Glow’s charcoal mask, however, this particular charcoal mask has your skin feeling so smooth once you wash it off. This mask is great for all different skin types (which I really appreciate having such sensitive skin) and is deep cleaning while reducing your pores. Another benefit of this mask is that it's also great for getting rid of oiliness in your skin and helping to brighten your face. This is definitely a great mask for when you feel like your skin needs a little pick-me-up!
Generation Clay Purifying Pink Clay Mask ($20)
Not only is the pink color super fun, but the feeling of your soft skin after washing this off, makes this mask totally worth it. While the mask is on you can feel your skin being soothed, brightened, and purified. This is definitely an amazing mask for when you want to soften your skin while purifying it of dirt and residue built up throughout the day.
The name of this mask says it all. It’s the perfect mask for when you are just not satisfied with how your skin is looking. What I like most about this mask, besides the blemish control, is the fact that it remains gentle on the skin throughout the hardening process. Glam Glow’s blemish control is definitely worth a buy, but this innisfree mask feels softer and easier on your skin. Washing this mask off does not leave your face looking red, but instead, leaves a soft and less inflamed look because of the use of bija seed oil. This oil helps with reducing irritation and inflammation.
Clearly I’m a huge clay mask gal and take my masks very seriously. I hope that these suggestions inspire you guys to test out some new masks and step up your self care routine in quarantine. Stay safe everyone, and happy face masking!
XOXO,
Grace Williams :)
